GENERAL SUMMARY
Provides advanced clerical support within department; processes high volume offense reports with high regards to greeting/meeting the needs of the public.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The intent of this job description is to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities performed by incumbents of this job. Employees may be requested to perform job-related tasks other than those specifically presented in this description.
- Provides Clerical/Customer service, which includes all aspects of office setting. Answering switch board with large volume of telephone calls and assisting/directing civilians to the appropriate offices.
- Intakes and maintains estray account information.
- Receipting/scanning daily offense reports, data entry of citations, criminal subpoenas/DWI’s for distribution, sorts mail and scanning old reports for retention.
- Coordinates with various offices, prepares correspondence for CID/Patrol offices, maintaining documents on everyday paperwork to complete and distribute to county offices and outside agencies.
Performs other related duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
High School diploma or equivalent, with under and including 1-year related experience. A combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions listed above can be substituted.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES
- Ability to operate office equipment and related software
- Knowledge of filing
- Ability to answer and distribute calls
