Job Overview:
We're in search of a dynamic, team-oriented Restaurant Manager to oversee our front of house and restaurant operations. The ideal candidate will embody natural leadership qualities, possess a genuine passion for hospitality, demonstrate strong operational acumen, and boast a proven track record of delivering exceptional results. This role presents a clear trajectory for the right candidate to transition to General Manager within 6 to 12 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direction to the front of house team to ensure seamless operations
- Establish and maintain the highest standards of food quality, cleanliness, and service excellence in accordance with Alfalfa’s values and industry best practices
- Train and mentor team members, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork, respect, high performance, and growth opportunities
- Oversee inventory management, ordering, and supply chain logistics to ensure adequate stock levels while minimizing waste and maximizing profitability
- Manage team scheduling and labor optimization
- Act as a liaison between management and vendors, effectively communicating the restaurant's needs, overseeing product quality and pricing, and ensuring expectations are met
- Lead by example and set the bar for Health & Safety and ServSafe compliance
- Collaborate with Kitchen Manager to ensure streamlined service and continuous improvement
- Strong working knowledge of kitchen operations systems and can support the kitchen team as needed
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in restaurant management experience
- Proven track record of success in managing a high volume, fast paced restaurant, including inventory and vendor management, team development, and scheduling
- Set the tone and bring energy in everything you do while inspiring your team to do the same
- Strong people management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team to achieve common goals
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a timely and professional manner, striving to resolve issues and exceed expectations whenever possible
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities, with a customer-centric mindset and a focus on delivering exceptional service
- Availability to work up to 50 hours per week depending on the needs of the business

Compensation:
- Hourly Range based on experience $20-$24 plus tips
