Position Expectations…
The Wealth Advisor position is an essential member our team. This position is an integral part of ensuring every aspect of the client experience exceeds expectations. This individual will have a strong desire to develop the essential communication, technical and social skills to support the client relationships of the firm. Under the mentorship of our Lead Advisor and Management Team, the vast majority of time in the first year is spent in client meetings learning, observing, and practicing the skills needed to become a successful Wealth Advisor. Under the supervision of the Lead Advisor and Management Team, this individual will obtain the required industry licenses and master all financial software programs needed to be successful within this role. In time, this individual will prepare and make recommendations for client financial plans, investments, and portfolio allocations as well as work directly with clients independently.
Essential Job Functions:
- Develop effective communication skills with clients, centers of influence, industry contacts and team members
- Learn and develop mastery in financial software programs: Salesforce FSC, Orion, MoneyGuide, Holistiplan, Digital Allocation Tool, etc.
- Client Review process:
- Gather data, reports and prep agenda and discussion items
- Refresh advisor team on previous meeting notes
- Attend and support all client meetings
- Enter post-meeting notes into Client Review object in Salesforce FSC
- Communicates Post-Meeting Items to Relationship Manager for follow-up
- Client Onboarding Process:
- Participates in Client Onboarding Meetings, as needed
- Leads Intro Calls to Qualify Prospective Clients
- Enter and analyze data within our Financial software program
- Create custom reports within our Financial software programs
- Prepare and make recommendations on Financial Plans and portfolio allocations
- Works directly with clients and smaller client accounts independently
- Coordinate to schedule meetings with clients and outside professionals, if needed
- Support and shadow Lead Advisors
- Participate in Prospect to Client Process (i.e. client touch calls, passion prospecting, etc.), as directed
- Participate in our internal meeting rhythms and develop quarterly Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
- Participate in training and continuing education requirements.
- Learn and develop service techniques
- Adhere to Compliance policies and procedures
- Attend minimal firm events and travel
- Other duties and special projects, as assigned
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent investment advisory experience
- Active Series 65 license or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire
- CFP strongly preferred
- Life, Health and LTC licenses or ability to obtain
- Clean U-4 and U-5 history
- Computer literacy and aptitude for learning new programs and processes:
- Knowledge of Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), required
- Knowledge of Financial Industry programs (Salesforce, Orion, MoneyGuide, etc.), preferred
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
- Excellent attitude and an extraordinary client service orientation
- A genuine interest in serving and caring for other people
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities with precision
- Self-motivation and a desire for growth
- Ability to take direction and a desire to support all team members
