Summary: The Assistant District Manager reports to the District Manager and is responsible for managing and coordinating the security operations within your assigned district. You will be responsible for developing and implementing security strategies, protocols, and procedures to meet the unique needs of each client. You will also be responsible for managing a team of security professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure they are equipped to carry out their roles effectively.
Minimum Qualifications and Prerequisites
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in security management or similar role
- Available to be on-call 24/7. Schedule must be flexible. Work week may exceed 40 hours per week.
- Proven leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Valid drivers license and ability to travel within the designated district.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage multiple security operations within a designed district.
- Develop and implement security strategies, protocols, and procedures.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to security professionals.
- Ensure compliance with Company Policies and Procedures
- Conduct regular site inspections to assess security measures and identify potential improvements.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their security needs and develop customized solutions.
- Manage budget and resources effectively to achieve operational goals.
- Maintain the minimum State of Georgia standards to possess an Armed Security License.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibility
- This position has direct supervisory duties.
Work Environment
- This job operates in different environments to include hotels, industrial facilities, residential neighborhoods. This position requires walking, lifting, carrying, and kneeling.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
- This is a full-time position working regularly scheduled shifts.
Travel
- Local travel from site to site will be required.
