Director of Quality and Compliance
As a leader in the Organizational Excellence team, this individual will provide strategic leadership in regard to system-wide quality. Compliance and risk management. The Director of Quality and Compliance works in partnership with the Vice President of Quality and Compliance/Compliance Officer to ensure the success of the corporate quality and compliance and programs at Center for Human Development. This position will provide leadership and subject matter expertise in regard to CHD-wide compliance and quality performance and related data analysis.
Responsibilities:
The Director instills a culture of compliance and continuous quality improvement, innovation, and organizational practice transformation that enhances outcomes and improves the quality of services.
Works with division and program leadership to support the application of accreditation standards, collection of data and use of standard performance improvement methods to measure and support program performance outcomes across the organization.
In addition, they will take necessary steps to monitor and audit compliance and performance through the development and deployment of comprehensive data collection, analysis and resultant action item tracking across all business and program areas.
Implements the organizations Performance and Quality Improvement (PQI) program.
Creates/updates the Performance and Quality Improvement and Risk Management plans annually.
Chairs the corporate organizational Performance and Quality Improvement Committee (PQI).
Knowledge and Skills and abilities required:
- At least 3 years’ experience in regulatory compliance and risk management
- At least 3 years of progressive experience in Quality and Performance Improvement
- Demonstrated experience in:
- data exploration and analysis, using statistical tools and techniques to explore and analyze data, identifying patterns, relationships, and trends.
- data visualization, creating visual representations of data findings through charts, graphs, and dashboards
- data reporting, preparing reports and presentations to communicate the insights and findings from the data to internal and external stakeholders
- Must be able to manage multiple competing demands and priorities, work both independently and in teams. Must work well under pressure.
- Experience in accreditation preparation and leadership
- Ability to conceptualize, plan, coordinate, facilitate, successfully execute, and complete projects in a timely and efficient manner.
- CHC preferred
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Science, Public Health/Policy, Business, or related field
- Master’s degree in Health Science, Public Health/Policy, Business, or related field preferred.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in Quality Improvement in a healthcare environment
- 2-3 years of progressive experience in healthcare corporate compliance.
- Experience supervising and providing education and mentorship to staff
- Proficiency of Office 365 application suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook; experience with Power BI a plus.
- Proficiency in the use and development of relational databases.
- Experience in accreditation preparation and leadership a must; CARF preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with staff at all levels and across all departments and programs.
- Outstanding skills in data collection, analysis, and presentation.
- Sound understanding of federal and state regulatory guidelines
This is a fully on-site position located in Springfield, MA.
