AMO Environmental Decisions (AMO) is an environmental consulting firm located in Doylestown, Pennsylvania (www.amoed.com). The firm provides, among other services: site investigation; remedial design, remediation oversight and management; permitting and regulatory compliance; due diligence support; GIS analysis; regulatory agency interaction; and client advocacy. We are currently seeking resumes from qualified Office Managers.
Successful candidate for this position will be responsible for operation and maintenance of accounting records to include logging of payroll, office & project expenses, vendor billings, client invoicing, and payment processing, among other bookkeeping tasks. The position will also include: interface with health insurance broker to administer employee health insurance plans; administration of local income tax payments; coordination of landlord, annual fire marshal inspection, office cleaning services; and tracking/ordering/maintenance of office supplies, among other routine administrative tasks. A plus if candidate has familiarity/experience with OSHA HAZWOPER medical surveillance and related training programs.
General Requirements
- 3+ Years of experience;
- Demonstrated proficiency with:Intuit Quickbooks accounting software, service-industry platform;
Microsoft Excel, Word, Explorer, and Outlook;
Internet;
- Strong communication skills – able to effectively understand/exchange information (written & verbal);
- Strong organizational skills – electronic & hard-copy filing of office and project documentation;
- Understanding of & experience with health insurance plans;
- Experience or skill managing day-to-day office operations;
- Work well in team-oriented environment;
- Trustworthy with highly confidential information.
This is a part-time position, with hours varying between approximately 8 and 32 per week, depending on week and time of month/year. Current manager has worked for company for more than 17 years and is planning to retire.
Hourly compensation to be based upon experience and mutual agreement. Health benefits may be considered based on candidate needs and hourly compensation.
