Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Job Captain with a background in commercial office projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with Revit and possess excellent technical and design skills. As a Job Captain, you will play a crucial role in leading project teams, coordinating with clients, and ensuring the successful completion of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead and manage project teams from the design phase through construction documentation.
· Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop and execute project plans.
· Produce high-quality construction documents using Revit.
· Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
· Coordinate with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions that meet their requirements.
· Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and building codes.
· Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
· Assist in the preparation of project proposals, including cost estimates and schedules.
· Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
· Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Job Captain, with a focus on commercial office projects.
· Proficient in Revit; knowledge of other design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, etc.) is a plus.
· Strong understanding of building codes, standards, and construction processes.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Professional licensure or certification is preferred but not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
