We are looking for customer-oriented representatives. As a customer service representative, you will act as a liaison, provide product/services information and resolve any emerging problems that our customers might face with accuracy and efficiency. We are seeking those who are genuinely excited to help customers and are knowledgeable in our industry (Scuba Diving) or are willing to learn. You should be patient, empathetic, and passionately communicative. You should love to talk and engage customers. You should have the ability to put yourself in the customers’ shoes and advocate for them when necessary. Our customer feedback is priceless to us, and you will be invaluable in helping us to maintain a high standard of service. You should be confident in troubleshooting and investigating if you don’t have enough information to resolve customer complaints. Our main goal is to ensure excellent service standards, respond efficiently to customer inquiries and maintain high customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Manage incoming calls
- Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
- Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
- Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
- Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
- Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
- Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
- Take the extra mile to engage customers
Skills
- Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
- Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
- Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Ability to effectively market on social media platforms
- High school degree
- SCUBA certified or interest to become certified
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
