JOB SUMMARY
The Ozone Generator Sales Representative achieves maximum sales profitability, growth, and account penetration of Ozone Therapy within the USA and Canada. Personally, the Sales Representative will contact and secure new business accounts/ customers, and will also maintain positive relationships with new and existing accounts/ customers. Customers can include naturopathic doctors, chiropractors, holistic practitioners, veterinarians, distributors, and medical ozone groups of interest. Product training is provided, but the successful candidate will become a product expert and will be able to communicate effectively about the product, educating both existing and potential customers as part of the sales process.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/ CORE FUNCTIONS
- Develop and maintain a clear understanding of medical Ozone Therapy functionalities in order to meet customers’ needs
- Learn and acknowledge USA and Canada market trends in ozone field applications
- Research competitor’s strategies, channels, prices, and promotions in USA and Canada, reporting to Sales & Marketing management
- Analyze the territory/ market’s potential and determine the value of existing and prospective customer’s value to the organization
- Reach the targets and goals set by management in sales volume, number of deals closed and revenue generated for the organization
- Increase customers’/ distributors’ base/ portfolio following the Marketing guidelines
- Develop sales strategies and set sales targets with visit/ weekly reporting to the Director
- Participate in and organize trade shows and conventions
- Promote strategic links with the associations of medical ozone in the USA and Canada.
- Provide training to prospective customers in order to show them ozone applications and equipment usage
- Support distributors as a product specialist and close direct sales
- With a customer-focused orientation, act as “product manager“
- Aware of and aligned with the quality and improvement values of the organization
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS/ PREFERRED EDUCATION
- Experience in Sales (3 – 5 years minimum), preferably in a holistic health-related market, or medical equipment or electromedicine
- Academic Background: Marketing or Science Degree such as Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, or medically-related degree preferred
- English required and Spanish fluency preferred
- Excellent computer skills (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to communicate about medically-related products and topics
- Self-motivated and driven salesperson who can show initiative and work independently to achieve goals
- Ability to think creatively and solve potential problems and/ or resolve issues in a timely manner
- Open-minded to new ideas/ solutions, and empathetic to customer needs
- Team player who can get along well with co-workers and customers
