The Human Resources Generalist reports directly to the Human Resources Manager
Required Experience:
Some prior experience in Human Resources and Recruiting is preferred. Only candidates with the required prior experience or a strong equivalent combination of education (i.e. Associates or Bachelors degree in Human Resources, HR or Recruiting certifications ) and experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to be able to perform the role will be considered.

Job Duties:
- This individual will be responsible for basic Human Resources duties, Staff Recruiting and assisting the Human Resources Manager with maintaining various employee databases and employment records.
- Responsibilities will also include working with new hires in the pre-boarding and onboarding process.
- Assist in maintaining an accurate record of employee attendance and leaves
- Assist the HR Manager in policy formulation, hiring and salary administration
- Submit online job postings, shortlist candidates and schedule job interviews
- Coordinate orientation and training sessions for new employees
- Ensure smooth communication with employees and timely resolution to their queries
- Interviewing potential applicants regarding their skills, experience, and education
- Contacting references and performing background checks on applicants
- Informing applicants about position details, including working conditions, benefits, and duties
- Referring qualified applicants for the employer
- Conducting or helping with new employee orientation when needed
- Handle employment-related inquiries from employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate supervisor contact
- Supports Engagement Committee initiatives
