Job Summary: The Medicaid Liaison will guide nursing facilities and coach families through the Medicaid application process and work with them until approval has been obtained.

Verify payer source for all new admissions
- Collaborate with facility team to identify potential payment risks

Direct and guide facility and families thru all steps of the Medicaid application process
- Support collections process for patient pay
- Keep current with all state Medicaid policies

Qualifications: Excellent communication and leadership skills, works well with others both inside and outside the organization, able to multi task with efficiency, organized and able to meet deadlines under pressure. A creative thinker and a lover of challenge will thrive in this role.
Applicant needs to have 2+ years experience as a nursing home business office manager, have a strong understanding of payers and insurances, fluent in the Medicaid application process.
