PORTER/AIDE
SUMMARY
Responsible for the overall appearance of the dietary area, models and vacant readies, in addition to the public access areas utilized by current and/or prospective residents.
JOB DUTIES
- Cleans dining areas, public access areas, kitchen, meeting rooms and other areas of the community as directed. This includes but is not limited to mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal.
- Clean and remove all trash and debris from grounds, dining rooms, amenities areas, resident areas, stairwells, and dumpster areas according to company standards.
- Monitors and reports on the inventory of cleaning supplies and/or necessary maintenance supplies associated with responsibilities of the role.
- Reports any maintenance concerns or repairs in kitchen, models, clubhouse, and/or common areas to the Service Manager.
- Provides assistance to maintenance staff and other staff members as needed.
- Maintains open communication with the Supervisor, Managers and Executive Chef.
- Represents the company in a professional manner at all times.
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS
- Assists with clean-up at resident functions.
- Delivers various communications to residents as needed.
- Attends and participates in training seminars as requested.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
SKILLS. ABILITIES, AND EXPERIENCE
- High school education or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- At least one year of experience of doing similar duties is preferred.
