RippedPHL is a HIIT studio in the heart of Center City. We are looking to add a devoted member of our team. All candidates must have at least 1 year of personal training and/or fitness instructing, and ability to teach a fun, fast-paced workout. We are looking for people to teach fitness classes as well as personal train.
Other key components include:
- Act as a role model towards clients, peers, and colleagues by fostering a pleasant, positive, and respectful work environment and displaying enthusiasm about providing an outstanding training experience.
- Actively and positively promote RippedPHL and support all other Coaches to achieve team bonuses by hitting class capacity utilization goals.
- Work cooperatively with Studio Management Team and act in accordance with RippedPHL policies and procedures, including, but not limited to, attendance, dress code, time keeping, and code of conduct policies outlined in RippedPHL Employee Manual.
- Identify, address, and educate new clients prior to the start of class to help alleviate anxiety and create a comfortable and welcoming training environment. This includes, but is not limited to, introducing yourself, inquiring about injuries, and providing a general overview of the brand’s offering, the daily focus, and what to expect from the class.
- Execute the daily program thoroughly, succinctly, with high energy, and in a timely manner.
- Demonstrate and assist clients with proper set-up of equipment and execution or modification (in the case of injuries) of specific exercises, ensuring the safety and comfort of all clients.
- Acknowledge and thank clients after each training session, seek constructive feedback, and answer any pertinent questions or concerns, in conjunction with Studio Management Team
- Address client complaints/issues effectively and efficiently in collaboration with the Studio Management Team
- Ensure that the training area is well-maintained, clean, safe, and orderly during and at the conclusion of your scheduled classes, per RippedPHL standards.
- Create/update playlists regularly to consistently motivate clientele.
Must have:
- Must become RippedPHL Certified through a training program before teaching your first class
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- 4 year degree in a fitness related field preferred.
- AND/OR
- Certification from nationally-recognized certifying organization (ACE, ACSM, ISSA, NASM, NESTA, NPTI, NSCA, PTA Global, etc.).
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $40.00 - $150.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4 – 15 per week
