Our company is looking for an Assistant Store Manager who is passionate about customer service and has the ability to work as a team player to ensure every detail of a customers event is perfect. It's the responsibility of our Assistant Store Manager to ensure that all primary and secondary duties are fulfilled during their shift, which includes assisting with making desserts, answering the phone, cleaning and providing outstanding customer service on the sales floor.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Contact vendors to obtain deliveries and re-order merchandise.
- Adhere to legal guidelines regarding hours of operation, pricing, and inspections.
- Assist in training and supervising employees.
- Prepare payroll reports, including collecting and recording employee time cards and insuring payroll taxes are collected correctly.
- Close the store at the end of the shift and prepare financial reports in accordance with corporate guidelines.
- Perform inventory count; check shipments, orders, and deliveries; check all items located in the store; check all floors, storage areas, sales rooms, rest rooms; count cash register drawers.
This position is a VERY hands on position and all managers must first train as an employee in order to understand the position they are to be managing. The most important part of this role is training the staff and ensuring consistency in our product and cleanliness in our store.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
