Position Overview:
We're on the lookout for a dynamic and inspiring Head of School to lead our community. You'll be the heart and soul of our school, guiding everything from day-to-day operations to long-term strategy. If you're passionate about education and ready to make a real impact, we want to hear from you!
Salary range is $130,000 to $150,000 depending on skills, qualifications, and experience.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage Operations: Oversee daily and strategic operations, including full P&L responsibility.
- Collaborate with Program Leaders: Work closely with program leaders to continuously improve and enhance our offerings to meet the needs of school districts, private schools, and individual students.
- Oversee Student Enrollment: Manage enrollment activities, including intakes and program design.
- Ensure Program Quality: Guarantee the efficacy of counseling, EF coaching, and special education programs.
- Individualized Programs: Create tailored academic programs that meet each student's unique learning needs and developmental profiles.
- Assess Program Needs: Regularly evaluate and address academic, speech and language, and counseling needs.
- Provide Leadership: Offer training and support to teachers and staff, including regular observations and feedback.
- Deliver Quality Services: Ensure high-quality educational services are provided to students and families.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: At least 8 years in Special Education teaching, school psychology, or counseling.
- Certification: BCBA required.
- Education: Master’s Degree in Special Education, School Psychology, Social Work, or a related field; experience with students with learning differences or social-emotional needs is a plus.
- Preferred Experience: Experience with early intervention programs is strongly preferred.
- Advanced Degree: An advanced degree in Special Education or an 092 certification is a bonus.
- Leadership Skills: Proven experience as a team leader or manager who can drive results.
