Responsibilities:
Meritage Homes is hiring Compensation Analyst to assist with the administration of company-wide compensation programs and provide general compensation support. The Compensation Analyst will ensure compensation programs are externally competitive and internally equitable, and assist with the development and implementation of compensation programs, practices and procedures.

Provide support in the analysis, development, design, administration and communication of company-wide compensation programs

Conduct market pricing, and perform job evaluations including job classification for all non-executive jobs

Participate in salary surveys and analyze competitive salary information to determine external competitiveness

Provide guidance and training as needed to the People Operations team on compensation matters
- Administer the company’s relocation, auto allowance and severance programs

Support People Operations Partners in in preparing job descriptions, evaluating jobs, and in reviewing salaries for internal employees and external candidates

Assists the Senior Compensation Manager and Total Rewards Team with projects as needed

Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or related field. CCP preferred.

Two-Three (2-3) years of experience in the compensation field. Working knowledge of compensation program analysis, job evaluation techniques, market pricing, and processes.
- Strong computer skills with expertise in Microsoft Windows Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and primarily Excel.
- Strong Oral/Written Communication and Interpersonal, and Customer Service skills; ability to communicate effectively with a high degree of professionalism.
- Frequent interactions with a wide variety of internal and external contacts, with all levels of authority and responsibility.
