JOB SUMMARY: The purpose of this position is to perform work on an irregular, part-time, as-needed, or seasonal basis. Specifically, this position will provide services related to developing online learning opportunities and web-based projects for ESC-20 clients. Identify, plan, and apply appropriate instructional content design strategies and objectives, curriculum, learning activities, and assessment materials based on the subject matter, client feedback, and the latest online development strategies.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
JOB KNOWLEDGE
Bachelor’s degree required from an accredited university.
Three years of relevant experience required.
Knowledge and experience in curriculum design, development and instruction for students and adults.
Knowledge of various script languages for cross-platform, browser, and device usability preferred.
Knowledge of instructional design standards.
Proficiency and experience in standard productivity software and content and/or learning management systems.
Knowledge of the latest American Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance requirements specific to online content.
Proficiency with standard functions within electronic applications such as MS Office (word processing, electronic spreadsheets, presentation software), e-mail, web browsers, and databases.
Proficiency with computers (PCs and/or MACs) to include desktop management, file management and operations, and successfully working in a networked environment.
Exceptions to these requirements will be considered based on exemplary skills, training, and record of success.

Tools/Equipment Used: Standard office equipment including personal computer and peripherals.
Posture: Prolonged sitting; occasional bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, and twisting.
Motion: Repetitive hand motions including frequent keyboarding and use of mouse; occasional reaching.
Lifting: Occasional light lifting and carrying (less than 15 pounds).
Environment: May work prolonged or irregular hours; occasional travel; exposure to low or intense illumination.
Mental Demands: Work with frequent interruptions; maintain emotional control under stress.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Function within the policies and administrative procedure of ESC-20.
Accept other responsibilities as assigned.
Dress and groom appropriately for the ESC-20 work setting.
Travel independently to fulfill responsibilities of the position.
Serve at the will of the Executive Director.
