Kirby Sanitation is currently adding to our office team. We provide employees with a casual, friendly, and family oriented atmosphere. The CSR role requires a trustworthy and approachable individual who maintains a proper demeanor when interacting with all levels of staff and customers in a rapidly changing environment. Our new team member will possess exceptional conflict resolution skills, strong attention to detail, the ability to multi-task, and a desire to assist in all areas of the business. Computer proficiency is a must. Team members will work simultaneously across multiple windows/applications on each call. The ability to read maps by following keys and legends is also important. Job Responsibilities
· Computer proficiency is a MUST. We are not looking for computer programmers, but our team members must be comfortable working in multiple applications.
· Greet clients via phone, email, and in-person
· Answer incoming customer calls regarding billing, service, and sales following a guided call flow.
· Handle and resolve service issues using the tools provided in a friendly and professional manner.
· Create work orders for missed trash, new services, and cancellations in accordance with company policy.
· Establish phone rapport and always maintain phone etiquette with customers including a calm cool demeanor with the ability to move forward after tough calls.
· Create and update customer accounts in the database.
· Prepare outgoing mail
· Take and process payments
· Use of standard office equipment (Fax, Copier, Computer)
· Contact customers to follow up with inquiries or promptly return voicemail messages.
· Contact customers to update payment information.
Preferred Skills
· Able to type at a speed of 35 WPM or better.
· Computer Skills - MUST be able to continuously navigate between multiple screens and web based applications while assisting customers on the phone or in person.
· Maintain a coachable and positive attitude with staff, superiors, and customers.
· Knowledge of principles and processes for providing a positive customer experience.
· Knowledge of geographical area helpful but not required.
· Critical thinking skills including but not limited to using logic and reasoning to identify alternative solutions or approaches to problems.
· Customer/Coworker orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters.
· Bi-Lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
Education
· Must be 18 years of age or older
· High school diploma / GED
· Some college preferred, but not required.
