As a Senior Restaurant Manager you will support and lead all aspects of our business including Pickleball operations, Catering, Events and restaurant service, especially in the absence of the General Manager. You will support the development of the team, support development of high-quality food and drink menus and motivate our staff to provide a quality guest experience. The Senior Restaurant Manager is responsible for maintaining the restaurant’s revenue, profitability, service metrics, property and quality goals. You will ensure efficient restaurant operation, as well as maintain production goals, productivity, efficiency, quality and customer-service standards To be successful in this role you will need to be able to remain calm in a high volume environment, have strong problem solving and communication skills and a willingness to learn many restaurant systems.
Essential Responsibilities

● Supervise and evaluate department managers
● Hire and terminate teammates, with department managers
● Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction
● Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints
● Regularly review product quality and research new vendors
● Oversee staffing levels and Cost of Goods
● Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity
● Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
● Manage restaurant’s brand and manage ways to improve it
● Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste
● Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly and annual revenues and expenses
● Promote the brand locally through community and restaurant events
● Recommend ways to reach a broader audience (e.g. discounts and social media ads)
● Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices
● Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations
● Promote continuous skill development through online courses, coaching and training programs
Qualifications
- 5+ years of full-service, high volume Manager experience
- Bilingual prefered
- Knowledge of Food Safety, liquor requirements and quality standards
- Understanding of and drive for financial accountability
- Extensive food and beverage (F&B) knowledge, with an understanding of ingredients and dishes in a restaurant or catering organization.
- Familiarity with restaurant management software, like HotSchedules, Point of Sale and accounting software. Acute financial management skills
- Strong leadership, motivational and people skills.
- Perform in an active, fast paced, indoor and outdoor venue, during inclimate weather, with flexibility to work during evenings, weekends and holidays
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions and percentages.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Problem solving, computer literacy and decision making skills
- Food Handler and Liquor Certification
