McLane Classic Foods is a premier custom kettle cooked food products company based in Burleson, Texas. Specializing in custom product development, we produce a wide range of kettle cooked recipes for our regional and national chain restaurant partners. Our capabilities include an array of kettle cooked food products including soups, sauces, side dishes and dips.
To ensure success as a stock controller, you should possess extensive knowledge of inventory management and experience in the food production industry. An accomplished stock controller will be someone whose expertise translates into optimally maintained stock levels.
Schedule: Mon – Sat 5pm to 2am (1 hour lunch)

Role and Responsibilities
The Stock Controller will be responsible for maintaining companies' stock inventories, loading/unloading trucks, and checking incoming shipments. In addition to replenishing stock levels and oversee shipments/internal stock transfers.
· Completing inventory consumption for raw material and packaging.
· Auditing and supporting the various work centers to ensure material consumption and lot code allocation is accurate.
· Auditing that materials are in the correct work centers for consumption.
· Responsible for completing necessary inventory adjustments and providing feedback to direct line manager.
· Periodically receive late inbound deliveries to prevent disrupting production.
· Print picklist daily for scheduled production and verify all materials are available.
· Partner with material handlers on return materials to warehouse when no longer needed by production, and document return quantities and locations.
· Participate in physical inventory and cycle counts.
· Performing regular inventory audits.
· Periodically validate FEFO is being utilized and accurate recording on batch sheets and tablets.
· Overseeing stock storage processes, including tagging, boxing, and labeling.
· Supplying production with rework materials.
· Additional responsibilities as instructed by Accounting Manager.
· Adhere to plant GMPs and safety guidelines.
Skills and requirements
· Be able to stand, stoop, climb and bend for periods of time.
· Be able to lift up to 50lbs.
· Be able to work in freezer, cold, hot, and wet environment for 8–10-hour shifts.
· Basic literacy (English) and math skills.
· Certification/Training in Forklift and Electric Pallet Jack.
· Warehouse and forklift/pallet jack experience of 2+ years.
· Proficiency in inventory management software.
· In-depth knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices.
· Exceptional analytical/problem-solving skills, communication abilities, organizational and time management skills.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
