The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for supervising and developing the Maintenance Team to maintain, improve, and build the manufacturing infrastructure. The Maintenance Department's purpose is to Deliver Great Performance by driving world class equipment reliability.
The Maintenance Supervisor
- Provides direct supervision of the quality of work, responsiveness, and safety of to 10-30 maintenance technicians over 3 shifts
- Oversees breakdown repairs, preventive and predictive maintenance and root cause analysis
- Supervises external maintenance contractors
Requirements:
Salary: $80000 - $110000 / year
- Ensures all systems are operational, running efficiently, and maintained to reduce downtime
- Recruits (hire/fire), trains, coaches, recognizes and the crew members
- Ensures a safety culture where no one gets hurt and that all accidents can be prevented
- Reviews production schedules and estimates craftsman labor requirements and procedures for completion of job assignments
- Inspects completed work for conformance to blueprints, specifications, and OEM standards
- Communicates with oncoming and off-going shifts at pass down meetings, ensuring a smooth work transition
- Uses Root Cause Analysis to resolve problems, and/or assists craftsmen in resolving problems to prevent reoccurrences
- Ensures proper training and upgrades skills of craftsmen on new equipment and/or procedures
- Holds our employees accountable for the quality of their work and their relationship with their customers; coach and provide performance feedback to employees as necessary
- Participates in the process improvement teams as a team member in other Continuous Improvement initiatives as needed
Compensation: $80000 - $110000 / year
