Job Title: Junior Systems Administrator

Summary
MRCOOL LLC is seeking a motivated Junior Systems Administrator to join our expanding IT department. In this role, you'll focus on ensuring the smooth onboarding of new employees into our technology systems. This includes setting up user accounts, managing access permissions, and providing essential training. Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and has a strong understanding of common IT platforms and systems administration.
Responsibilities
- User Onboarding:
- Create and manage user accounts across various systems (email, cloud applications, internal software, etc.).
- Establish and maintain appropriate permission levels according to job functions and security protocols.
- Document and communicate onboarding processes to new hires.
- Systems Administration:
- Provide first-line technical troubleshooting and support to users.
- Manage software updates and installations as needed.
- Collaborate with IT team members on system maintenance and upgrades.
- Additional IT Support:
- Assist with uploading and managing product data into our EDI system.
- Contribute to IT projects and tasks as directed by the IT Manager.
Qualifications
- Required:
- Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field - OR - equivalent work experience.
- 1+ years of experience in a systems administration or technical support role.
- Proficiency in common operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
- Working knowledge of user account management and directory services (e.g., Active Directory).
- Preferred:
- Experience with cloud-based platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
- Familiarity with EDI systems and data management.
- Certifications relevant to systems administration (CompTIA A+, etc.).
Skills
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Detail-oriented and committed to accuracy and data integrity.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical users.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary Range 45-55k/year
