Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and vehicles
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance on diesel equipment
- Repair or replace faulty components, such as fuel systems, brakes, and transmissions
- Use hand tools and specialized equipment to complete repairs
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines and their components
- Proficient in air brake systems, tire service, and suspension systems
- Familiarity with farm machinery is a plus
- Ability to diagnose and repair HVAC systems in vehicles
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to use automotive diagnostics tools effectively
- Must have own hand tools for the job
