Overview:
This position is a vital leadership role in the CB Homecare organization. The Regional Director, Homecare Services is responsible for all agency operations for an assigned territory. The Regional Director will also serve as the Agency Administrator as required by state. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: regulatory, billing and contract compliance, profit and loss responsibility, agency growth, implementation of new technology solutions and integration of new acquisitions. The Regional Director will lead the planning and achievement of objectives that are consistent with the mission, vision, and values along with business and financial goals.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the development of company and organizational goals.

Hiring, counseling and termination of branch level staff as appropriate.

Provide support and problem solving for the branch offices.

Serve to cover vacant positions at the branch offices, as appropriate.

Remain informed and educated about home care regulations and standards.

Promote interdepartmental cooperation and communication, which may result in mediation of staff disputes.

Develop employee excellence through recruitment, retention, training, motivation and reward.

Establish performance goals with supervisors and evaluate their performance.

Participate in strategic, short-range, and long-range planning for educational, client care, revenue, and public relations programs.

Manage, control, coordinate, and supervise the fiscal activities of the agency, including funding development, budget negotiations, generation of client care revenue, and contract preparation, negotiation, and approval.

Develop and supervise business development strategies of the Division to assist in identifying, evaluating and pursuing business opportunities with partners or potential customers.

Shall review the quality of the agency's services with findings used to verify policy implementation, to identify problems, and to establish problem resolution and policy revision as necessary, on a regular basis to determine best practices and common pitfalls.

Monitor the record system and statistical reporting system for proper documentation, planning and evaluation.

Assist in the development of policies focused on client care in collaboration with stakeholders.

Oversee care delivery and client outcomes to ensure that care meets the clients' needs.

Monitor and take reasonable steps to ensure:

Client rights are exercised.

Compliance with applicable Federal, State and Local laws and professional standards are maintained.

Compliance with established policies and procedures.

Ensure that the numbers and qualifications of personnel available to provide and supervise services are sufficient to implement the plans of care and treatment to meet the needs of the clients.

Responsible for the annual agency evaluation to review the quality of the agency's services with findings used to verify policy implementation, to identify problems, and to establish problem resolution and policy revision as necessary.

Implement performance improvement priorities.

Reviews monthly financials to determine areas of improvement.

Monitors KPI's to best manage the outcomes of the assigned territory.

Take on-call as necessary.

All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Health care practitioner as defined in G.S. 90-640(a); or
-
An individual who has at least two years of supervisory or management experience in home care or any other provider licensed pursuant to G.S. 131E or G.S. 122C; or
-
An individual who holds a bachelor's degree in health, business or public administration science and has at least one year of supervisory or management experience in home care or other licensed health care program.

Thorough understanding of applicable Homecare licensure, program and contract regulations.

Experience in home care administration and at least 5 years of supervisory or administrative experience in home care or related health programs.
