Job description
The Clinical RN position is the backbone of the clinic. RN’s guide the patient on their personalized journey to live a better, healthier life. Because of this great responsibility, all assigned tasks must be completed with great care and accuracy. Nurses are the liaison between the provider and the patient and must maintain a professional, calm demeanor at all times.
Requirements Education/Experience
Requirements include Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. Must have a valid RN license. 1-2 years of experience with aesthetics or cosmetic dermatology, phlebotomy, IV vitamin therapy ideal. 1 year of experience in functional or integrative medical practice is preferable. The candidate must demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills. Preference will go to candidates willing to adapt to a fast paced environment with a steep learning curve.
Necessary Technical Skills: Phlebotomy, IV administration, Anatomical knowledge, Injectable aesthetics
Duties and responsibilities include the following.
General Accountabilities

● Facilitate a warm, caring demeanor that immediately allows the patient to feel comfortable and at ease.

● Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, keeping the rooms neat and clean.
● Show patients to examination rooms and prepare them for the Provider.
● Record patient vital statistics and note any changes in medical history reported by patient.
● Document procedure notes and other medical information in the EMR.
● Demonstrate a first-class ability to communicate medical and technical product knowledge to create an increased level of client engagement
● Performs routine screening tests, such as body composition, measurements and blood pressure checks, HR and other qualitative measures as requested.
● Draws blood and completes appropriate lab requisitions as necessary.
● Conduct with competence the following procedures:
● IV Therapy preparation and administration (nutrient, UBI, Ozone, EBOO)
● LI-ECSW - ED, Prostate, MSK protocols
● MA appropriate aesthetic procedures
● Diagnostic in-office procedures
● Bladder Instillation setup and preparation
● Assists in pre-procedure or post-procedure care.
● Documents all patient encounters in the EMR within 24 hours
● Direct patient medical challenges or inquiries to the appropriate medical or administrative staff members for expedited resolution.
● Sustain a laser-sharp focus on inventory levels for products, supplies and accessories.
● Purchases and maintains supplies and equipment.
● Cleans and sterilizes medical equipment and instruments.
● Properly disposes of contaminated supplies.
● Utilize CRM, POS, EMR, Slack, Gmail, Google Drive, Scheduling and LastPass with proficiency.
● Respect patient privacy by adhering to the highest patient privacy standards and methods concerning patient records, treatments, procedures, medical history and contact information and use only for official purposes when necessary.
