JOB SCOPE:
The Manager, RE Transactions supports the company's objective of creating value within its real estate portfolio by directing all aspects of transactions, with a focus on driving value through the sale, leasing, redevelopment and acquisition of both fee and leasehold assets.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Manager, RE Transactions is critical to the execution of asset strategies as the day-to-day responsibilities will be to manage the asset disposition process, provide analytic support to strategic initiatives, maintain broker relationships that provide services throughout our national portfolio and provide market intelligence through local brokers and developers relationships.

Responsibilities/Skills/Experience Requirements
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manages the disposition process for non-core assets either through single property or portfolio sales
- Partners with the Asset Management, Portfolio Management and Leasing teams to assist in the execution of individual asset plans for core and non-core properties
- Organizes efforts with internal teams and third-party resources to identify, confirm and pursue efforts that will create value for
- individual properties, which may include the use change of a property, rezoning and entitlement changes, redevelopment plans and acquisition opportunities
- Manages the internal reporting of transactional activity, which will include on-going disposition efforts, new outparcel development opportunities, transaction approval requests and broker contact lists
- Identifies third-party brokers and manage information flow to help drive marketing efforts of non-core property dispositions
- Monitors and summarizes market trends and comparable transactions and makes recommendations to the SVP
- Works with the Legal team to ensure all corporate protocols are followed in 3rd party agreements that include broker listing agreements, non-disclosure agreements and other ancillary agreements
- Completes detailed pro-forma models for capital allocation, redevelopment and disposition opportunities
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors Degree
- 5-10 years of related experience
- 18 years of age or older
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in real estate transactions, with a proven track record of successful deals
- Strong knowledge of real estate laws, regulations, and procedures
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously
- Proficient in real estate transaction software and tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
