You provide guests with the ultimate customer experience to create lifelong fans of our family of brands. You are a focused and driven Customer Experience Specialist who gets excited by delighting guests and transforming them into loyal customers. You assist customers with answering their inquiries, educating them on services we offer, and navigating the overall shopping experience. You create inspiration, enthusiasm and excitement about our products, and help guests discover styles and create a home they will love. You work well in a team environment that puts the customer’s best interest as the top priority.
Responsibilities:
- Creates/maintains a warm, friendly and personalized customer experience with a service focused attitude.
- Provides an exceptional experience during every guest interaction and creates lifelong raving fans of our family of brands. Ensures high customer satisfaction.
- Provides timely, accurate, and professional responses to customers via multiple different online platforms including chat, email, text, phone, and other communication channels.
- Understands the needs, wants, and aspirations of the customer and delivers a shopping experience that exceeds their expectations.
- Demonstrates a strong knowledge and understanding of our products, culture, services, competitors, sales approach, and fulfillment processes.
- Researches, locates, and provides product solutions that aid the guest in making purchasing decisions. Assists customers with the selection of merchandise and guides them through checkout.
- Educates customers on our full product and service offerings including protection plans, available payment options, etc.
- Partners with our retail teams to ensure a smooth and seamless omnichannel customer shopping experience.
- Initiates outbound communication to previous online customers to alert them of promotional campaigns and to encourage them to continue to shop with us.
- Continuously shops our websites to ensure key customer engagement areas are active and functioning smoothly. This includes auditing products on our website to ensure customers have all the information they need to make a purchase online.
- Utilizes new technology as provided and introduced online to enhance the customer’s experience.
- Attends all vendor training to gain knowledge and expertise.
- Attends and participates in all team meetings.
- Remains up to date on new merchandise, upcoming promotions, changes in policies and procedures, merchandise availability, etc.
- Proactively identifies opportunities to increase online leads, improve processes, and strengthen the ecommerce experience.
- Runs daily and monthly reports for Division Manager. Researches customer engagements as assigned.
- Interacts with team members and guests in a way that reflects our culture and core values.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in customer service, sales, or other related fields.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in technology, computer literacy and typing.
- Ability to learn and work with various office software and systems.
- Experience with POS systems and data entry.
- Flexible and adaptable to changes in processes and procedures.
- Ability to use good judgment in making decisions which have significant impact on the Company’s credibility, operations, and services.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks and responsibilities.
- Sitting and/or standing for sustained periods of time. Moving throughout the office and retail space required occasionally.
- Must be able to lift and/or exert up to 15 pounds of force at times.
