Job Title: SC Scholarship (ABC) Specialist
Position Classification: Full Time/ 18.84 Hourly + up to 15,000 performance pay

Reports to: DSS Manager and coordinates with the Director of Membership
General Functions: Responsible for recruiting, identifying, and enrolling current and potential DSS SC Scholarship (ABC) participants in eligible BE GREAT Academy programs; processing connection cards, other relevant paperwork, and SVL submissions; and managing participation dates. Responsible for promoting eligible BE GREAT Academy programs to DSS SC Scholarship (ABC) participants.
Additional responsibilities include: 1) Ensuring accurate membership records in our Membership Tracking System (MTS); 2) Communicate with new, existing, and departing participants and their primary caretaker; 3) Answer questions about enrollment, connection cards, and the Parent Portal; and 4) Communicating with DSS staff to promote awareness of eligible BE GREAT Academy locations.
Job Responsibilities:

Recruit/identify and enroll DSS SC Scholarship (ABC) recipients into eligible BE GREAT Academy locations.
- Manage connection cards, other relevant paperwork, participation dates, and SVL submissions for all DSS SC Scholarship (ABC) participants.

Identify potential DSS SC Scholarship (ABC) participants and encourage/assist them to enroll in DSS SC Scholarship program.

Market/Promote BE GREAT Academy to current and potential DSS SC Scholarship (ABC) recipients.

Ensure accurate records and manage DSS SC Scholarship (ABC) participants in MTS (Membership Tracking System).

Serve as liaison to DSS to promote, inform and educate DSS staff as to benefits and availability of BE GREAT Academy programs.
Qualifications:
Required Experience/Education:

Experience with DSS SC Scholarship (ABC) voucher program and Department of Social Service
-
A high school diploma with 3 years or more experience in customer service and account management. Associate's degree or higher preferred.
