As a Junior Systems Administrator, you will be providing direct IT support to clients via phone, email, and in-person with the highest level of professionalism and customer service.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Provides escalation support and incoming tickets assistance for the service delivery team as needed and based on availability.
- Answers calls as needed and interacts with clients, going onsite when needed.
- Installs, configures, and tests operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
- Collaborates with other professionals to ensure high quality deliverables within organization guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Deals with work process, optimization methods, and risk management tools in the given projects for the successful accomplishments according to the requirements of the stakeholders.
- Develops and maintain documentation for procedures
- Assists other departments with additional tasks as needed.
- Troubleshooting Microsoft server issues.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Background in IT, computer systems engineering, or systems engineering and analysis.
- Experience with Microsoft servers.
- Proven working experience in Microsoft and other enterprise-grade products and services such as Exchange, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure, and similar platforms.
- Networking knowledge (OSI networks layers, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing).
- Experience with ICP/DNS or Firewalls.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and comfort working with all levels of an organization.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Active Directory.
- Experience with troubleshooting Microsoft Office Applications.
- 5 years of experience in a similar role, which can include a combination of education and industry certifications such as A+, Network+ or vendor specific such as Fortinet NSE4 or higher and, Microsoft Certifications.
Additional Details:
- Onsite in Green Bay, WI.
- 4-6 month contract-to-hire.
- Pay starting at $21/hourly.
