Role Description
The Account Executive is a full-time remote role responsible for developing new business and servicing existing accounts within the assigned territory. The Account Executive will identify potential clients, develop and deliver proposals, negotiate contracts, and manage client relationships. The Account Executive will also be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve revenue goals and other assigned objectives.
Qualifications
- Must live in assigned territory.
- Sales and business development skills, including lead generation and closing deals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
- 3+ years experience in the environmental industry is required specifically with waste management.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, environmental studies, or related field is preferred but not a requirement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to understand customer needs and develop comprehensive solutions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Salesforce (Customer Relationship Management software).
- Ability to travel as required to meet with clients. (50%+ Travel Required)
Responsibilities
- Implement a sales growth plan to achieve annual sales goals within acceptable margins.
- Develop an annual sales plan for review and approval by Manager.
- Confer with direct Manager, organization officials, and staff members to discuss issues, coordinate activities, and resolve problems.
- Meet in person with all current customers in the respective territory every fiscal quarter.
- Log all activity into CRI’s CRM (Currently Salesforce) Daily. Including Emails, Phone Calls, In person meetings, virtual meetings, Opportunities, contacts, and any other critical information.
- Submit Expense Reports on time and with receipts.
- Submitted generator signed waste profiles to CRI’s upper management prior to waste being received at CRI’s Facilities.
- Prospect new business through cold calling, referrals, and personal network.
- Create and provide Quotes to current and new customers

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
