Interconnection Coordinator (Solar) (Customer Success)
1. Pay Rate: $24/hr
2. Shift Time: 11am – 8pm CST
3. Site Requirement- Hybrid schedule Full-time onsite for first 2 weeks of training,
then remote hybrid schedule will start
Summary of Role:
We are seeking an outgoing professional to support the company's New Homes channel as an Activation Coordinator. The focus of this role is to provide excellent customer service in helping homeowners activate their new home’s solar system.
It is vital for our Activation Coordinators to educate homebuyers on the solar activation timeline and obtain the required signed applications so that new home buyers’ have a streamlined experience.
To be successful in this role you will be responsible for setting proper expectations with homeowners on the solar that comes with their new home and initiating the solar activation process, which includes collecting the new homeowner’s utility account info and signed utility solar applications. Having a customer service mindset will be vital when working with internal and external representatives.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintain high-end customer satisfaction in your homeowner interaction and communication
- Capture all customer-related data into SalesForce (CRM) and record all action taken in your communication
- Superb organization skills to stay on top of a high-volume pipeline of 80-100+ homeowners you are communicating with at any given time
- Interact with homeowners through inbound/outbound calls, web chat and email to collect signed utility solar applications and set timeline expectations for system activation
- Exceed service level agreements while working in a fast-paced environment
- Develop as a subject matter expert on the solar and new home building industry and on SunPower products
Required Qualifications:
- Associates degree and 4+ years related customer service experience or equivalent combination of education and years of related experience
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Strong computer skills, including strength in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to handle high inbound and outbound call volume
- Comfortable with customer engagement
- Highly organized and able to multi-task on the job
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Salesforce
