Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
- Leads tasks in the development of new products from concept level, through validation and qualification following applicable regulatory and industry standards and customer requirements.
- Represents Engineering in the Material Review Board (MRB).
- Generates models and drawings to capture the engineering design, and manages the review and release of this technical data, as well as related reports and program deliverables, through Eaton’s Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) database.
- Generates and reviews engineering inputs to customer proposals, including technical concepts, preliminary bill of materials (BOM’s), test and analysis scope and related expenses, and preliminary engineering labor estimates.
- Generates and reviews mechanical design and dimensional analyses. Reviews structural, thermal, dynamic, and performance analysis for design validation. Interfaces effectively with applicable internal resources analysis teams.
- Authors and/or reviews test plans, procedures, and reports and setups for development, acceptance, and qualification testing.
- Drives failure analysis investigations for Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) projects.
- Communicates effectively with internal and external technical and program leadership teams, and to middle management audiences (external and internal).
- Supports marketing and sales teams with technical support and customer visits.
- >5 years product design experience in the Aerospace industry.
- Proficiency in Solidworks (CAD).
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
