To qualify for pay band 4A applicants must meet the following:
Have at least one year of specialized experience relevant to the position duties and comparable to the MCC Pay Band 4B (GS-12) or an equivalent level which is directly related to the work of this position and which has equipped the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. For this position, this experience is defined as: providing technical advice on international security programs and operations or in a in variety of environments and locations; assessing safety and security risks and identifying mitigation measures; representing the organization on interagency committees, task forces, and periodic meetings in support of security programs; developing and recommending contingency plans necessary for rapid response to emergencies or security issues; and developing, implementing and updating security policies and procedures. Have at least one year of specialized experience relevant to the position duties and comparable to the MCC Pay Band 4A (GS-13) or an equivalent level which is directly related to the work of this position and which has equipped the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. For this position, this experience is defined as: serving as a technical expert and providing advice to management officials on international security programs and operations or in a in variety of environments and locations; assessing safety and security risks and identifying mitigation measures; representing the organization on interagency committees, task forces, and periodic meetings in support of security programs; developing and recommending contingency plans necessary for rapid response to emergencies or security issues; and developing, implementing and updating security policies and procedures.

Desirable: Fluency in French, Portuguese, and Spanish (please include level of proficiency, speaking and writing, in your resume).
