Summary:
North Texas import dealership seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our team in a high-volume dealership environment as Service Manager. The primary goal of the Service Manager is to oversee and ensure efficient service drive operations and promote and adhere to the highest standard of customer satisfaction. This role will lead a team of Service Advisors and support staff while fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Scope of Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve departmental goals, maximize profitability, and enhance customer satisfaction
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure departmental performance and identify areas for improvement
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer standards, dealership policies, and applicable regulations
- Maintain a customer-focused approach, ensuring the highest level of service and satisfaction
- Handle escalated customer inquiries or complaints, providing effective resolutions and maintaining positive customer relationships
- Implement and monitor customer satisfaction surveys and feedback to continuously improve service quality
- Set performance goals and expectations for the team
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting teamwork, open communication, and professional growth
- Assist in the implementation of cost-saving measures while maintaining service quality
- Continuously evaluate and enhance service department processes and procedures to increase efficiency and productivity
- Implement technology solutions and service innovations to streamline production operations
- Stay updated on industry trends, new service technologies, and manufacturer requirements to maintain a competitive edge
The Best Candidate Will Have:
- Proven experience (5+ years) in automotive service management or a similar leadership role within an automotive dealership
- In-depth knowledge of automotive service operations, including maintenance, repairs, warranty programs, and customer service
- Strong leadership abilities, with a track record of successfully managing and developing high-performing teams
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers, employees, and stakeholders
- Strong financial acumen and experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and profitability management
- Proficient in utilizing dealership management systems, service software, and related technology tools
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively

Pay: From $90,000.00 per year
