We are currently seeking a qualified Board-Certified Behavior Analyst to participate in the development and implementation of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) programming for in-home and other community-based settings.
As the only nonprofit ABA organization in the Inland Pacific Northwest, Northwest Autism Center’s mission is to support, facilitate and build accessible and comprehensive community-based approaches to help children and adults with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental disabilities in the Inland Northwest. Essential Job Duties required for this position:
- Maintain regular schedule of effective supervision for Behavior Technicians (BTs).
- Maintain and deliver high-quality services for assigned caseload of clients.
- Conduct comprehensive assessment and write appropriate treatment plans for clients.
- Design, collect, graph, analyze and report client data.
- Establish and implement practices to promote the care, safety and health of each client across all environments.
- Provides direct treatment services to clients, as needed.
- Provides training and on-going support to assigned BTs.
- Provide required supervision hours for BCBA candidates (BTs enrolled in accredited ABA Master’s programs);
- Maintains regular and effective communication with client families, colleagues and supervisor.
- Deliver education and training to families.
- Coordinate with families, staff and other team members to ensure program consistency.
- Provide coordination of care with community services and providers, as appropriate.
- When necessary, work with leadership to strengthen contracted partnerships with local school districts in helping meet the needs of students as part of CBS planning.
- Shift from 11am to 7pm
Required Education/Knowledge/Skills:
- BCBA® certification required. Must be able to obtain Washington State Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) certification within the first 90 days of hire.
- Experience in providing ABA services to individuals with ASD and other Developmental Disabilities, preferably in community-based settings (in-home, schools, etc.)
- Prior ABA supervisory experience required
- Approved by BACB® to provide BCBA® supervision
- Experience and knowledge of a variety of assessment tools required
- Excellent assessment, intervention, and organizational skills
- Mature interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills
- Must be able to work flexible hours and be available to address client and staff needs as they arise
