Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Leader to join our leadership team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving business growth, forging strategic partnerships, and expanding our market presence in the Metro DC area. As a key member of the leadership team, you will be instrumental in shaping our company's future and advancing our mission of delivering exceptional construction solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and relationship-building efforts.
- Collaborate closely with executive leadership to define target markets, establish sales goals, and prioritize business development initiatives.
- Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting to deal closure, including proposal development, negotiation, and contract execution.
- Lead marketing team by providing direction, strategy, and for all collateral, social media, web presence, and campaigns.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and other key stakeholders in the commercial construction industry.
- Stay abreast of market trends, competitive intelligence, and industry developments to inform strategic decision-making and enhance our competitive position.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the business development team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to showcase our capabilities and strengthen our brand presence.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement in our business development processes, tools, and methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Construction Management, or related field.
- Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or related roles within the commercial construction industry. A background in Construction Operations with a doer seller mindset is preferred.
- Deep understanding of the Metro DC construction market, including key players, trends, and growth opportunities.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate value propositions and build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a demonstrated ability to drive business growth in a competitive environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $135,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
