Our family oriented dental office is looking for someone who is upbeat, friendly, professional, and reliable, as well as detail oriented. It is vital you are bilingual in English and Spanish. We are considering applicants with or without prior dental office experience, however, applicants with prior dental experience or training will start at the higher end of the scale. We are willing to train the right person for this position.
Our dental reception position is the face of the office as patients arrive for care.
Here are the days/hours of this position:
Mondays: 8:30am - 7:30pm
Tuesdays: 9:30am - 5:30pm
Wednesdays: 7:30am - 5:30pm
Thursdays: 6:30am - 4:30pm
Fridays: 11:00am - 4:00pm
There is an unpaid hour for lunch during each day, except on Fridays.
Here are the job duties for our Receptionist:
Greeting Patients and checking them in for their appointments
Answering Phones, taking messages, and/or transferring calls to the correct staff members for areas you do not personally handle
Obtaining needed information before and/or upon arrival for appointments
Assisting with insurance benefit confirmations before appointments
Preparing routing slips for the next days appointments & add-ins
Setting up and maintaining correct patient account information
Scanning documents to patient records when manually completed
Sending birthday and early confirmation emails
Keeping the reception area tidy and clean (feeding the fish)
Calling to schedule patients for needed appointments
Mailing reminder postcards for patients who need to schedule routine care
When needed, Spanish to English translation (when other bilingual staff are busy)
Sending scheduled patients email confirmations two weeks before their appointments
Sending health update emails to patients 1 week before their appointment when they are due for their annual update
Opening the office in the mornings

Pay: $12.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
