Position Overview:
We are seeking a Maintenance Technician with strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to excellence. Your role will be crucial in maintaining our rental properties, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate maintenance schedules to minimize disruption for tenants.
- Manage eviction procedures, including lock changes and property clearing.
- Maintain clear communication with tenants regarding maintenance issues.
- Collaborate with office staff and contractors for efficient property management.
- Source and install necessary parts to ensure timely repairs.
Essential Functions:
- Diagnose and repair HVAC systems (Universal HVAC license is a plus).
- Perform electrical, plumbing, painting, and carpentry repairs.
- Install locksets, window treatments, and fixtures accurately.
- Secure properties post-eviction and oversee clean-outs.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as changing batteries, bulbs, and filters.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in property maintenance.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Strong communication skills, teamwork ability, and proficiency with digital tools.
- Familiarity with rental property management laws and practices.

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

- Property leasing: 2 years (Preferred)
- Residential painting: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:
- HVAC Certification (Preferred)
