**What You Will Do:**
As the Assistant Director of Nursing, you will be the heartbeat of our care team, ensuring that every resident receives the love, attention, and support they deserve. Your role will encompass:
- Providing compassionate leadership to our Nursing and Clinical teams, guiding them to deliver the highest standard of care.
- Developing and nurturing infection control programs and initiatives to safeguard the health and well-being of our residents.
- Representing Healthcare on our Campus Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAPI) committee, advocating for the needs of our residents.
- Supporting our commitment to Healthcare Regulatory Compliance, working tirelessly to uphold the standards of excellence in our community.
- Overseeing clinical operations with a tender focus on quality measures such as skin integrity, hospital readmissions, and pain management.
- Supporting and uplifting our Clinical Supervisors, Unit Clerks, and PRN staff, empowering them to shine in their roles.
- Leading initiatives to ensure exceptional customer service and fostering a culture of engagement and positivity among our team.
- Managing our inventory of medical equipment and nursing supplies with care and attention to detail, ensuring nothing stands in the way of our residents' comfort.
- Playing a pivotal role in the hiring, orientation, and ongoing support of our team members, helping them find purpose and fulfillment in their work.
- Developing and implementing comprehensive staff development programs, nurturing the growth and professional development of our team members.
**What You Will Need to Be Successful:**
To thrive in this role, you'll need more than just qualifications – you'll need a heart overflowing with empathy, a spirit of kindness, and a commitment to making a difference. Here's what we're looking for:
- A deep well of motivation and energy, coupled with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Current RN, BSN licensure for the State of Virginia.
- Three to five years of supervisory and leadership experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing setting.
- Familiarity with Nursing Home and Assisted Living Regulations for the State of Virginia.
- Physical stamina and mobility, ready to climb stairs, stand, and walk for extended periods with a smile on your face.
