JOB SUMMARY:
The AP Manager reports to the Corporate Controller and provides direct support in all areas of accounts payable, as directed by the Controller. The role involves managing a team to handle the day-to-day processing of business transactions, delivering exceptional customer service to internal DWX stakeholders, and helping with special, executive-sponsored projects to improve operation efficiencies and effectiveness. The AP Manager will hire, train, and manage a small team of 1 to 2. This manager-led team will ensure the proper processing of all day-to-day business transactions, which may include vendor invoicing, billings to DWX partners, cash receipts/disbursements, reconciliations, and financial and operational reporting. With direction from the Controller and in coordination with DWX headquarters (HQ) leadership, the AP manager will adhere to and maintain accounting principles, practices, and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements for DWX and its innovation hubs. The AP Manager will also assist the Controller and CFO with special projects to improve operational efficiencies and effectiveness and may include projects involving the accounting system of record, internal controls, policies, procedures, processes, compliance, financial reporting, and budgeting.
This is an exempt full-time position located in the Niceville, Florida headquarters office and eligible for company benefits. The DWX corporate headquarters team currently work in a hybrid work environment.
