We are seeking an experienced Property Accountant who will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting activities of approximately 15-20 properties in the assigned portfolio. The Property Accountant adheres to the Accounting Policies set by the company and will maintain a professional relationship and communicate regularly with all levels of staff and lenders.
This is a full-time, in-office position located at our Corporate Office in St. Paul, MN.
** Previous Property Management Accounting experience preferred **
Primary Responsibilities include:
- Preparing accurate and timely financial statements
- Preparing for budgets and annual audits
- Reconciling the general ledger
- Supporting Property Managers for entities within the portfolio
Qualifications include:
- 2 or 4-year Accounting degree
- 1-3 years of experience in Accounting or related field
- Understanding of Accounting processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to prioritize to meet deadlines
- Analytical skills
- Attention to detail
- Customer service skills
- Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office
- Yardi Voyager Affordable software preferred
