BASIC PURPOSE SUMMARY:
Provide leadership and direction to the water transfer crew.
CHARACTERISTIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Assign tasks to team members based on their skills and experience.
· Ensure crew members follow safety protocols and guidelines.
· Plan and organize daily work activities to achieve project goals.
· Coordinate with other departments or teams to ensure seamless project execution.
· Develop work schedules and allocate resources effectively.

And may require medium to heavy work, including continuous physical exertion such as frequent bending, lifting, or climbing. Ability to lift more than 75 pounds.
Communications: Requires explaining facts, interpreting situations, or advising individuals of alternative or appropriate courses of action.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Highschool Diploma or equivalent.
Experience: 3 years’ experience in Water Transfer or a similar line of work.
License/Certification: Valid Texas Drivers License.
RECOMMENDED WORK TRAITS:
Extensive knowledge of all tools, materials, practices, and hazards of Water Transfer. Skill in the use and maintenance of power and hand tools. Ability to lay out, assign and supervise the work of subordinates Ability to read, interpret and work from plans, blueprints and specifications, instructions and to prepare working sketches. Must be willing to maintain appearance appropriate to assigned duties and responsibilities as determined by the agency appointing authority. Knowledge of the principles and practices of supervision.
