Summary
The Loyalty Product Manager will be responsible for managing the development and implementation of a new One Rewards platform in Salesforce. The successful candidate will work closely with internal and external software developers, technical architects, product owners, business analysts, and other functional subject matter experts to ensure the successful delivery of the project. IHG is migrating its loyalty platform to a Cloud SaaS solution that will expand functionality and evolve the One Rewards operating model.
Key Accountabilities
- Work closely with Loyalty Business Operations, Global Technology, Channels, Data, Salesforce, and other business groups to identify current and future loyalty platform requirements.
- Analyze data, document functionality, present use cases, discuss business decisions needed and presenting across all levels of the organization.
- Interpret business requirements as provided by stakeholders in the discovery process, creating Features, acceptance criteria working with developers and QA to bring functionality to life.
- Attend daily standups providing updates, summarizing takeaways, blockers, and action items.
- Effectively breakdown complex topics and turn conclusions into actionable Features.
- Interpret and explain technical findings to business stakeholders in practical non-technical language.
- Develop relationships with colleagues across the business.
- Proactively lead projects and manage expectations effectively.
- Manage multiple tasks concurrently, with the ability to quickly pivot based on business needs.
- Familiar with agile product lifecycle and project management tools (Rally).
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or Information Technology or relevant work experience.
Experience
- 3-6 years of relevant work experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in hospitality software development.
- Experience in product management, product owner, business analyst, or related field.
- Demonstrated proficiency in management over large and complex projects.
- Expert communication (verbal, written, listening) skills interacting professionally with a diverse group of people from all levels.
- Experience in formal requirements methodology such as vision, scope, context, use cases, etc.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Must have proven knowledge of Agile methodology writing Features, User Stories, managing competing priorities.
- Knowledge of Rally, Wiki, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams.
The salary range for this role is $120,000 to $155,000. This is the lowest to highest pay scale we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the pay range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs.
