Innovative Building Energy Control (IBEC) is located in Orange County, California. You will be a contributor to a growing team with complete design, development, validation, verification, and delivery of temporary power systems for the construction setting. The main duties and responsibilities are as described:
- Provide mechanical design and development services in support of projects, including part and assembly design from conceptual and detail design through manufacturing introduction.
- Utilize SolidWorks solid modeling and drawing software to complete mechanical design for a wide range of components and assemblies composed of stainless steel, chromoly, aluminum and plastics that are manufactured via casting, CNC machining, LASER cutting, CNC forming and molding.
- Examine and analyze new designs to determine feasibility of operations, tooling, manufacturing and applications.
- Assemble and evaluate proof of concept prototypes.
- Prepare and execute component and system verification and validation test plans, including establishing pass/fail criteria.
- Create, manage, release, and maintain BOM’s.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a mechanical related major
- Understanding and confirming to relevant safety standards
- Can lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
This is a full-time job.
Hourly rate is based on experience: $28 - $40/hour.
