We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Network Engineer to join our team in the Middle-South Georgia area.
Job Summary:
The Network Engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation, and support of network solutions for our clients. This role requires strong expertise in Cisco technologies, including CCNA, CCNP, and specific certifications such as Cisco 350-401 ENCOR and Cisco 300-430 ENWLSI. The ideal candidate will have experience in both pre-sales and post-sales environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop designs that meet customer functional and budgetary requirements.
- Maintain a professional attitude and deliver excellent customer service at all times.
- Generate functional and connection-level drawings for IT network design, CCTV, audio, video, control, and communications systems.
- Create Engineering Design Packages, including LAN, WAN, CCTV, A/V control, video, audio, and networking schematics.
- Generate and submit Bill of Materials.
- Coordinate the requirements, integration, and installation of IT Networks, CCTV, and A/V control system programs.
- Support the on-site installation efforts of the team.
- Troubleshoot systems and resolve network issues.
- Ensure full compliance with company and customer safety programs.
- Complete training programs from manufacturers, industry associations, and the company as required.
- Pursue continued ongoing education.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification is required.
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification is required.
- Cisco 350-401 ENCOR certification is required.
- Cisco 300-430 ENWLSI certification is required.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Office365 is required.
- Proven experience in both pre-sales and post-sales roles, with a strong ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Self-motivated and able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Must be willing to travel for at least 50% of the time. Travel frequency may vary, ranging from 0% to 100% in any given week.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with other networking technologies and vendors is a plus.
- Familiarity with network security best practices and tools.
