Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Grant Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fundraising and possess expertise in financial report writing, budgeting, and research. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to impactful projects through successful grant applications. This role is part time (20 hours per week) and temporary for 3 months with a possibility to extend.
Responsibilities:
- Research, write, and submit high-quality grant proposals
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information for proposals
- Manage grant applications from submission to reporting
- Maintain accurate records of grants, submissions, and outcomes
- Edit and proofread grant proposals for clarity and accuracy
- Monitor grant compliance and reporting deadlines
- Utilize databases for tracking grant opportunities and submissions
Requirements:
- Proven experience in grant writing and fundraising
- Proficiency in fundraising software (provide examples)
- Strong financial report writing skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent budgeting skills
- Knowledge of contract management processes

- Proficient in proofreading and editing documents
