Main responsibilities:

As Lead QA Engineer you will take ownership of maintaining all QA artifacts, automation scopes and test suites, as well as all technical and process documentation about the products/projects in the centralized repositories.

Prioritize all testing tasks and scenarios based on their importance and raise appropriate questions and escalations as needed to deliver the projects with high quality and low/acceptable defect rates.

Provide adequate test coverage with sound product expertise and a strong understanding of the user stories to articulate its value to the projects and customers.

Create testing and automation strategies and approaches in alignment with organizational goals.
-
Utilize, develop, and maintain automation scripts (Selenium with Java and BDD) and incorporate them effectively for Site Impact products.

Utilize automation scripts effectively and efficiently for regression, integration, and functional testing to improve quality and reduce turnaround time with automation team support.

Be an escalation point for testing and quality assurance and operate as a primary point of contact for the QA teams.

Examine and confirm the traceability matrix in Testpad that links the requirements to the test cases.

Determine load testing scenarios and use JMeter to integrate performance/load testing for both functional use cases as well as API.

Focus on continuous QA improvements on testing tools, STLC process, test techniques, and automation.

Implement cutting-edge testing techniques and test best practices for Cloud releases.

Optimize and maintain the regression test suite for the applications.

Take part in agile sprint ceremonies like stand-ups, story grooming and estimation; sprint planning; and retros.

Provide support for cross-team tickets for integration testing.

Collaborate with product owners, developers, and cross-functional teammates.

Evaluate and participate in meeting Platform and Product Support Service Desk tickets’ SLA.
Required Experience:
-
Experience in QA across multiple projects with distributed agile teams with at least 3 years’ experience acting as Lead QA Engineer.

Experience with SDLC and QA methodologies, software testing principles, concepts, verification/ validation techniques, and test management.

Have strong technical skills, both functional and non-functional, manual and automation
- At least 3 years’ experience using Selenium with Java or Python & BDD and JMeter in a continuous delivery environment.

Adept at complex SQL statements with advanced joins.

Proficient in executing automation test scripts to validate the implementation of user requirements.

Strong background with APIs and API testing tools like Postman.

Excellent knowledge of risk management, risk identification, and risk-based testing.

Able to analyze data and use testing metrics to highlight improvement opportunities.

Good exposure to cloud-based software development and technologies.

Self-motivated and curious about understanding the business, product, and infrastructure components.

Robust decision-making, problem-solving, and team and time management skills.

A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or equivalent

Experience working in Digital Marketing or with B2B SaaS products

Configuring DevOps pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub actions, Bitbucket, etc)

Google Cloud Platform (GCP) including GKE and BigQuery (or AWS equivalent)
