Summary
Salary: $80,000.00 annually with 25% Sales Incentive Plan (SIP)
Position Summary:
The Field Sales Representative plays a crucial role in the company by handling business development and customer management. They act as a point of contact for customers both on-site and in local and regional offices. This position is responsible for achieving sales goals that align with the company’s overall sales strategy.
Essential Responsibilities:
- The individual will always operate in a safe manner and follow all of the company’s safety policies. They will also maintain a safe driving record and take responsibility for ensuring the safety of all team members.
- Achieving sales goals and targets established by the Segment Sales Leader. Acquiring new customers for the company. Maximizing gross margin through market pricing and value-based selling. Implementing sales strategies for Key Accounts.
- Develop a “trusted advisor” relationship with customers. Become the company’s expert for your customers by comprehending all aspects of the company’s business and delivery of energy products to the field. Comprehend your customers’ business objectives and ascertain how the company can assist them in accomplishing their goals.
- Provide a precise update to the sales leadership of the company and utilize CRM to create pipelines and forecasts. Create strategies to carry out specific sales tasks in order to achieve objectives. Adhere to internal sales procedures for pricing and contract development. Comprehend and adhere to the delegation of authority.
- Coordinate with colleagues, management and senior leadership as needed to execute sales plans with customers.
Other Functions:
- Special projects as requested.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:
- 3-5 years of successful, proven sales experience; selling value and/or solutions.
- Natural Gas Compression knowledge and experience preferred.
- Knowledge of building successful account plans and managing pipelines.
- Ability to handle constantly changing flow of traffic; ability to multitask effectively during busy times, exercise patience and professionalism during stressful situations.
- Ability to work responsibly with or without direct supervision.
Education:
- High school diploma required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing preferred.
Working Conditions:
- This position requires working in an office setting, with long periods of time sitting.
- Must be able to stand, bend, push and pull at least up to 10 lbs.
