The Opportunity
As a Senior Account Director, CTV at Kargo, you will play a crucial role in driving the adoption and growth of Kargo's CTV and video offerings. You will strategize innovative video solutions for advertisers, lead internal solution development, and represent Kargo at key industry events. With over 10 years of experience in B2B sales and digital advertising, and a proven ability to sell various video formats, you are equipped to scale our video go-to-market strategies and develop impactful industry strategies. Your extensive industry relationships and expertise in negotiating Video Upfronts make you an ideal candidate for this role.
The Daily To-Do
- Drive regional adoption, enhance familiarity, and increase revenue for Kargo's CTV and video offerings
- Act as a liaison to the local sales team for technical troubleshooting, knowledge sharing, and future development needs.
- Grow existing relationships with clients to establish a CTV and video presence on established client accounts
- Develop new client relationships to expand Kargo's CTV and video offering footprint
- Collaborate with Research and Product Marketing on in-market needs and future resources.
- Anticipate CTV and video offering needs for current and future clients
- Identify and uncover client business goals, needs, and pains
- Drive adoption and increase annual commitments with agency holdcos.
- Represent Kargo externally at industry events to influence Upfront and annual commitments.
- Develop and implement bespoke industry strategies within assigned verticals.
- Engage with Operations, Demand Partnerships, and Marketing teams regarding new product solutions and releases.
- Partner with HoldCo and the Marketing Team to create narratives that resonate with Kargo's unique offerings tied to customer objectives and business outcomes.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of B2B sales experience
- 7+ years of digital advertising experience
- 6+ years of advanced TV advertising experience
- Experience in selling various video formats
- Deep relationships within the advertising industry
- Experience negotiating, planning, or buying in Video Upfronts at agencies or brands
- DSP experience and knowledge of campaign setup
- Familiarity with TV Measurement and/or Linear planning
- CTV Technical expertise
- Outstanding presentation skills
- Excellent communication, both internally and externally
- Proven executive presence and relationship building skills
