Position Summary: As a Machine Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and optimal performance of our PCB manufacturing equipment. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and perform repairs on a range of machinery integral to our production process. This role demands a keen eye for detail, technical expertise, and a proactive approach to ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preventive Maintenance: Execute scheduled maintenance tasks to ensure machines operate efficiently and minimize unplanned downtime.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues in a timely manner to maintain continuous production flow.
- Repair and Calibration: Conduct repairs and adjustments on machinery, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, parts usage, and equipment performance.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with production teams to prioritize maintenance tasks and address immediate needs without disrupting production schedules.
- Continuous Improvement: Recommend and implement improvements to machinery and maintenance procedures to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Safety and Compliance: Adhere to company safety protocols and regulatory requirements during all maintenance activities.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in electrical or mechanical engineering preferred.
- Experience: Proven experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a manufacturing environment, with specific experience in PCB manufacturing equipment a strong asset.
- Skills:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency in interpreting technical manuals and schematics.
- Familiarity with PLCs, CNC machines, and automated systems.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in maintenance or specific machinery operations are advantageous.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs).
- Comfortable working in various environmental conditions typical of manufacturing settings.
